Our new and improved plant food is formulated to give hot and sweet pepper plants the nutrients and minerals they need to thrive and produce higher yields of flavorful peppers. Gurney's Pepper Food is an all-natural formula that contains no manures or fillers. Unlike synthetic fertilizers, this all-natural plant food slowly releases nutrients so they stay near the application area instead of leaching away. Made with a diverse mix of ingredients, it provides pepper plants with the nutrients they need, when they need them. Key ingredients include alfalfa meal (a source of nitrogen, calcium and potassium), kelp meal (a good soil conditioner and an excellent source of micronutrients, enzymes and plant growth regulators), molasses (a microbe-feeding energy source) and humic acid (helps make minerals more available to plants). Apply twice per growing season.

Plants will be shipped at the proper planting time for your area of the country using the shipping timeframes outlined below. We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August. Items that are overweight will require an additional shipping charge depending on weight.

In all cases, we choose the fastest, most efficient way to send your orders via the U.S. Postal Service or FedEx. Large orders or large items may be shipped to you in multiple packages.
