  • Spacing: 4-6 inches apart, in rows 30 inches apart.
  • Depth: 1 1/2 inches
  • Light Required: Full sun.
  • Yield: Produces higher yields than other Virginia types.
  • Foliage: Green foliage.
  • Days To Maturity: 140 - 145 days.
  • Zone: 3 - 9 (annual)
  • Germination: 5 - 10 days.
  • Form: Annual. Bush - type plant.
  • Flower Form: Small yellow flowers.
  • Soil Requirements: Well-drained, loose, sandy soil; avoid heavy clay soils.
  • Growth Rate: Moderate growth rate.
  • Comments: Grows great in the Southern garden. A newer Virginia-type variety. Its higher levels of oleic acid are a desired characteristic and help give the peanuts a longer shelf life. Yields are greater than some other Virginia-type varieties, with larger seeds and jumbo pods. Seeds have a pink seed coat.
