This special formula is meant to nourish ornamental shrubs and trees so that they don't just grow, but thrive! It's an all-natural fertilizer made only of plant and animal by-products, never synthetic chemicals or fillers. Shrubs Alive! will help ornamental shrubs and trees grow larger, greener and stronger. It's best applied twice per season, once in the early spring and again in early August. Apply at a rate of 2.5 lbs per 100 sq ft for each application, broadcasting into the soil around the shrub or tree, or with .5 cups per plant hole at the time of planting.
Coverage:• New Plantings: 1/2 cup Shrubs Alive! for Trees and Shrubs to planting hole
• Existing Small Shrubs: broadcast around shrub bed at 2 1/2 lbs Shrubs Alive! for Trees and Shrubs per 100 sq. ft. then scratch into top 2 inches of soil.
• Existing Large Trees & Shrubs: broadcast under the rain drip of each tree or shrub at 2 1/2 lbs Shrubs Alive! for Trees and Shrubs per 100 sq. ft. then water in thoroughly.
• Apply Shrubs Alive! for Trees and Shrubs twice a year—early spring and early August
