Watch out, blueberries—there's a new superfruit in town. Early ripening and easygoing, the honeyberry (also known as haskap berry) is finding favor with gardeners who may have had trouble growing blueberries in the past or are looking to add a little kick to homegrown fruit cocktails.

Of course, we all love blueberries. But not everyone has the right climate or soil conditions to grow blueberries successfully. Enter honeyberry, an up-and-coming superfruit that's giving blueberries some friendly competition.

For optimal fruit production, we've paired two perfect pollinators for this berry bundle—Maxine's Opus and Kawai. With its extra-large and sweet fruit, Maxine's Opus is the pride of top berry breeder Dr. Maxine Thompson. The plant's open habit and big berries make it easy to pick. The Kawai Honeyberry is a strong grower that ripens very early. Long, blocky berries have a nice sweet-tart flavor. Shipping Schedule I'm gardening elsewhere.

Plants will be shipped at the proper planting time for your area of the country using the shipping timeframes outlined below. We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August. Items that are overweight will require an additional shipping charge depending on weight.

In all cases, we choose the fastest, most efficient way to send your orders via the U.S. Postal Service or FedEx. Large orders or large items may be shipped to you in multiple packages.
