One of our favorite Itoh peonies, Kopper Kettle Itoh Peony puts on a color show in late spring to early summer with uniquely colored blooms in hues of apricot to copper. The large flowers stand out in the garden or cut-flower bouquets. This long-lived perennial also features foliage that changes with the season, turning a stunning red-orange color in the fall. A cross between a tree peony and herbaceous peony, the Itoh peony stands up to wind and weather. Deer tend to avoid. Zones 3-8.
