The wine-toned buds open to blooms with deep purple centers that fade to light purple shades outward on the petals. Blooming from midsummer to late summer, Crème De Cassis Dahlia is an extremely productive plant, bearing plenty of up to 6-inch flowers on sturdy stems—perfect for vases and bouquets. Cutting and deadheading encourages more blooms and prolongs the flowering season. Growing 32-36 in. tall, this perennial performs best when planted in full sun Zones 3-9, lift in zones 3-6.
