An essential herb for delicious curries, bread and butter pickles and other recipes! For the best results, grow Yellow Turmeric in a container and harvest a portion of the roots. The fresh flavor surpasses anything you can buy at the store. The roots can also be dried for turmeric powder. For a continual supply, re-plant part of each harvest. This hard to source, healthy, flavorful herb grows 3-5 ft. tall. Tolerates a range of light conditions. Perennial in zones 8-11, and annual in other hardiness zones.

Plants will be shipped at the proper planting time for your area of the country using the shipping timeframes outlined below. We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August. Items that are overweight will require an additional shipping charge depending on weight.
