Mature height is only 3-4' tall, but spreads up to 7'. Can also be sheared into a low 3-4' "shake-hands-with-neighbor", hedge. Unsheared growth habit is rounded mounding. No serious insect or disease problems – no sprays required! This female cultivar has bright red berries. Resistant to drought, rabbits and will do well in heavy shade. The most widely planted foundation plant in the U.S. Recommended for zones 4-7.
