Nothing says summer like the fragrance of sweet basil wafting through the garden. Siam Queen Sweet Basil is flavorful, aromatic and grows quite tall—reaching up to 36 inches tall. This All-America Selections winner produces extra-large leaves that have a very strong, clove-like scent and showy, dark purple flowers. Also known as Thai basil, Siam Queen Sweet Basil is a favorite for flavoring Mediterranean, southeast Asian and Thai cuisines and curries. Its leaves can be used fresh or dried. Basil is a tender annual herb that's easy to grow and low maintenance. It performs best when planted in full sun. Siam Queen Sweet Basil is part of the Parfum de Bloom™ series. The varieties in this series are reliably, powerfully and delightfully fragrant.
