A beautiful super-sweet apple unparalleled for fresh eating–just one bite and we guarantee you'll agree! Pixie Crunch possesses excellent fresh eating quality, and the apples' delectable sweetness work wonders in no-sugar pies and baked goods which cook up tender every single time. Their wonderful sweet taste makes them a favorite with kids who have chosen them over candy and sweets! Standard size trees will start producing dependable annual yields in their third year. Pixie Crunch isn't just sweeter than Honeycrisp, it's also easier to grow. The trees mature in late August and can handle late frosts much better than other apple varieties. 600-800 chill hours are required for a successful harvest. Zones 5-8. PP13871.
