Bears heavy yields of golden-bronze, medium-large round fruits with sweet, richly flavored flesh and crisp texture. Its fruits ripen from mid-August to September and store well for 2-3 months. A productive tree, Shinko Asian Pear exhibits excellent resistance to fire blight. Suggested varieties for pollination include: Chojuro, Drippin' Honey, Olympic Giant, Shinseiki and 20th Century. Zones 5-9.

Trees and shrubs are kept in the nursery row until full dormant for optimum stress protection.

In all cases, we choose the fastest, most efficient way to send your orders via the U.S. Postal Service or FedEx. Large orders or large items may be shipped to you in multiple packages.
