Compact shrub makes a big impact with its uniquely colored, vivid orange flowers. The trusses of 1 1/2-in., trumpet-shaped blooms appear before the green leaves emerge in the spring. Bred at the University of Minnesota, Mandarin Lights Hardy Azalea is a very cold hardy flowering shrub and performs well in full sun to partial shade. Growing 4-5 ft. tall, this deciduous shrub is ideal for planting as an accent plant, massing in a border or brightening the edge of a woodland. Zones 3-7.
