It's hard to beat these little treasures, our top choices for delivering a variety of perky colors and forms. All are under a foot high, some even smaller. Once planted in a pot or in a garden spot, they fill in and thrive with little or no more effort from you. Drought-tolerant, cold-hardy, impervious to pests, disease, nibbling deer or rabbits. Fun and rewarding!

Grow well in full sun to light shade. Generally reach about 4 inches high, 8 inches wide. Zones 3-9.
