The 2-inch blooms have an exquisite, eye-catching pattern of deep burgundy against creamy white. Ruffled and fully double, they perfume the summer air with a sweet, clove-like fragrance. Growing 12 inches tall, Velvet 'n Lace Dianthus adds plenty of charm to patio containers or when edging walkways or front borders. Performs best in full sun to partial shade. Deer tend to avoid. Zones 4-8.
