One of the hardiest and most versatile peaches. Excellent for eating fresh right off of the tree and for freezing, canning, and all other uses. Winter and frost hardy. Sets heavier every other year, less in "off" years. Not recommended for shipping, but great, reliable tree for homeowners. Fairly firm, yellow flesh, with a red pit. Cling type. Cold hardy zone 5. (800 chill hours required) Harvest in late June to early July.
