Large fruit size. A bud mutation of Wonderful. Resembles Wonderful with deeper red blossoms, regular bearing fruit, but it ripens a full month earlier. Fruit is a darker color and less tart than Wonderful. Tree is identical to Wonderful in form/appearance. Recommended for coastal climates over Wonderful. Cold hardy zone 9. Harvest in September.
