Challenging wet or damp spots are no problem with this gorgeous iris. Good Omen Japanese Iris thrives in damp soils, making it ideal for planting in rain gardens or near the edges of ponds and streams. The uniquely colored, cascading purple flowers with yellow spears will brighten garden settings and cut flower displays. Pollinators love them too! Growing 32-40 in. tall, this perennial's green, sword-like fans of stiff upright leaves provides a beautiful backdrop for the flowers. Good Omen performs well in full sun to partial shade. Deer tend to avoid. Zones 5-9.
