Impressive ornamental grass provides movement and interest in the garden for months! Golden Sunset Yellow Prairie Grass has eye-catching olive green foliage, frond-like flowers in yellow hues and seedheads that persist into winter. Growing 4-6 ft. tall with an upright stature, it doesn't fall over like some ornamental grasses. A larval host of the Pepper and Salt Skipper Butterfly, it's also songbird friendly. Golden Sunset Yellow Prairie Grass was developed by the University of Minnesota and is adaptable to a variety of soils. Deer tend to avoid. Zones 3-9.
