This updated version of the classic red rose is sure to turn heads. Rich red, very fragrant, large flowers feature a 40-45 petal count and open into massive, formal blooms. Blooming from late spring to fall, the vigorous, bushy plant bears flowers on strong, cutting stems. Cooler temperatures produce the best red color. Firefighter Hybrid Tea Rose grows 4-5 ft. tall and has matte green foliage. This rose was selected as a sponsorship rose of the Remember Me Garden Fund, a living memorial to the victims of 9/11. A portion of its sales go to the fund. Zones 6-10. PPAF.

Fortuniana Rootstock, The Best Option for Southern Regions
Grow Showier, More Disease-Resistant Roses!

When it comes to rose performance, rootstock matters. That's why we're so pleased to offer Fortuniana rootstock on some of our most popular rose varieties. The best rootstock for Southern regions, Fortuniana delivers greater adaptability and vigor in the South as well as success in sandy soils. Roses with this rootstock exhibit better resistance to root knot nematodes and crown gall. They also produce 30 percent more flowers and larger blooms. Because Fortuniana rootstock takes more effort for commercial growers to produce, these roses are often difficult for home gardeners to find.
