A favorite among generations of gardeners, Duchesse De Nemours Peony is an outstanding garden performer. In mid to late spring, large, creamy white, double blooms open and perfume the air with their sweet fragrance. Held on sturdy stems, the flowers are excellent for cutting. Ornamental foliage provides months of interest. The new growth emerges burgundy in the spring, changes to glossy, deep green in the summer and turns a soft yellow in the fall. Growing 24-30 in. tall, this classic perennial can be grown as a specimen plant or grouped as a small hedge. Grows best in full sun to partial shade.
