Compact Stella Cherry

A Naturally Semi-Dwarfed Sweet Cherry

  • Grows just 10-12 ft. tall
  • Large, dark red cherries with firm flesh
  • Self-fertile
Firm, sweet, dark red flesh with good flavor and texture. A natural semi-dwarf matures at 10-12 feet in height, making it the easiest of all sweet cherries to reach when picking cherries. Self-fertile. Tree bears at a young age. Resistant to skin cracking. Appears to be less affected by many problems associated with rain near harvest, compared to other varieties. Large, dark red, nearly black skin. Firm, sweet, dark red flesh with good flavor and texture. Good pollinizer for all sweet cherries. Cold hardy zone 6. (500-600 chill hours required). Harvest mid-season, slightly later than Stella
