Climbing Hydrangea

Easy to grow and adds multi-season beauty and texture to the landscape

  • Easy to grow and long-lived
  • Adds multi-season interest
  • Can also be grown as a groundcover
Add multi-season interest to your landscape with this climbing version of Hydrangea. Its attractive, glossy, dark green foliage adds a three-dimensional feature when planted near supportive structures such as stone walls, wooden posts and large trees. In summer, creamy-white, flat-topped flowers shine against its dark foliage. This vine also can be used as a ground cover. Climbing Hydrangea is easy-to-grow, carefree and very long lived, although it is slow to establish. Tolerates full shade to full sun areas but performs best in partial shade. Zones 5-9.
