Annapolis Strawberry Plant

Ideal for northern gardens

  • Vigorous, cold hardy and consistent producer
  • Early season, Junebearing variety
  • Large, high-quality, sweet fruits
If you love big berries, you'll love Annapolis. This Junebearing variety produces large berries early in strawberry season--and continues producing large berries, even after several pickings. The lighter red, high-quality berries are packed with sweetness and have a good firmness. They are ideal for eating fresh or made into pies and preserves. Annapolis is a great early season variety, and an impressive way to start strawberry season. It's one of the best varieties for northern gardeners, as the plants are very cold hardy, vigorous and productive, and consistently produce year after year. The plants show good resistance to red stele. Zones 3-8
