Gurney’s Summer Days Fruit Salad

Hot, lazy summer days are even more enjoyable with this sweet, juicy salad brimming with orchard-fresh flavor. While store-bought fruits are chosen for their storage qualities, at Gurney’s we select varieties based on their flavor profile first, naturally making any kitchen dish even more delightful.
To make this simple salad, pick some juicy peaches off your tree and add a medley of bright, sun-warmed berries—then top it all off with a simple lemon-honey drizzle and mint sprigs for a refreshing finish.
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1 cup fresh red raspberries
- 1 cup fresh golden (yellow) raspberries
- 1 cup blueberries (We especially love Ka-Bluey for this one!)
- 1 cup blackberries
- Fresh mint sprigs
Pro tip: For bigger, juicier berries, our Raspberries & Blackberries Alive! Fertilizer and Strawberries Alive! Fertilizer are created with the ideal NPK ratios.
Lemon-Honey Drizzle:
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- ½ tsp finely grated lemon zest
Instructions:
- Gently rinse all berries and pat dry.
- Slice peaches into thin wedges.
- In a large serving bowl, layer the peaches, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, lemon juice, and zest until smooth.
- Just before serving, drizzle the lemon-honey mixture evenly over the fruit. Top with a sprig or two of fresh mint for a bright, aromatic finish.
- Serve and enjoy! (And expect your guests to tell you this was the best fruit they’ve ever had!)
