A favorite among generations of gardeners, Babcock White Peach produces high yields of medium-to-large, sweet and juicy peaches with attractive skins blushed with red. The freestone variety is low in acid and excellent for eating fresh, canned, baked into pies and desserts and made into preserves. A favorite in California for nearly 100 years, Babcock White Peach has become the standard on which other white peaches are judged. The tree produces showy pink flowers in the spring. Requires 400 chill hours. Fruits ripen in July. Zones 8-9.
