Product Description
- Bundle includes (1) Raritan tree and (1) The Beast tree
- Paired for required cross-pollination
- Each hazelnut tree grows to approx. 15-20 ft. tall
- The Beast yields large, plump nuts with a buttery flavor
- Raritan yields slightly smaller nuts with a delicately sweet flavor
- Shows excellent resistance to Eastern Filbert Blight
A match made in hazelnut heaven! Our Raritan and The Beast trees are bred for superior disease resistance and paired for abundant cross-pollination and high-quality nuts. You’ll enjoy large, plump nuts with a rich buttery flavor from The Beast, while Raritan's slightly smaller nuts have a sweet, delicate taste. Both trees are mid-sized, growing 15-20 ft. tall with a spread of about 12-18 ft.—great for fitting into smaller gardens or landscapes. These varieties are easy to grow, with excellent resistance to Eastern Filbert Blight. Performs best planted in full sun to partial shade. Zones 4-8.
