Flat Wonderful™ Peach Tree
The Name Says It All!
Pre-Order This Item Ships in Spring
Product Description
- Sweet, rich flavor that embodies summer
- Clingstone with unique, flattened shape
- Pleasingly dense texture
- Tops for eating fresh, canning and baking
- Very ornamental maroon foliage that turns green
This luscious peach is nothing short of just flat wonderful! Its medium-to-large fruits have a unique flattened shape, delightfully firm texture and rich sweet flavor. The donut-shaped, flattened fruits are easy to process—just cut around the pit. The fruits ripen in late July and are great for fresh eating, baking and canning. The trees are also very ornamental. Standard sized trees are 15-20 ft. tall when mature while the Reachables stand 6-8 ft. tall when they've reached maturity. The self-pollinating trees are covered with gorgeous pink blooms in spring which look breathtaking against the brilliant maroon leaves that turn an attractive shade of green in the summer. 800-900 chill hours are required for a successful harvest. Zones 5-8. PP16836.
Now available in Reachables size! A Reachables tree produces full-sized fruits on a smaller tree. It's easier to fit into your garden or orchard, even a container will do fine! Thanks to state-of-the-art rootstock technology, these trees remain manageable throughout their life cycle, so a single person can prune, spray, net and harvest the tree, all while standing on the ground. No ladders required! Note: Because the full-sized fruits grow on smaller sized trees, Reachables require a tree support.
Why buy a Deluxe package - Deluxe fruit trees include 2 oz. of Fruit-Boost™ Pelletized Calcium to enhance fruit quality, 12 oz. bag of Fruit Tree Food Starter Formula, easy-to-use tree ties (see video below), a premium tree guard to protect the trunk from gnawing pests, mowers and weed trimmers.
NOTE: We are unable to ship our trees to PO Boxes at this time.
Listen to why this is a Niles’ favorite!
