Named for its contrasting “cat’s eye” center markings, Cat’s Eye Dwarf Bearded Iris is a richly colored, compact iris that brings big personality to small spaces. Reaching only 15 in. tall—just half the height of a standard German iris—its burgundy flowers are highlighted with bold red centers and soft lavender beards.

An earlier bloomer than standard German irises, this dwarf variety is perfect for front-of-the-border plantings, rock gardens and containers. Its shorter stature keeps it tidy and upright, while still delivering the classic, ruffled iris look. Once established, it’s drought tolerant, deer resistant and returns reliably year after year.
