Thrives out in the open or in part-sun flowerbeds, drapes over rocks and rock walls, and never troubled by pests or diseases. Phlox subulata varieties: 'Emerald Blue', 'Snowflake' and 'Crimson Beauty'.

Full or part sun locations. Only 4 to 6 inches high, with a spread of 12-18 inches. Zones 3-9.
