  • Botanical Name: Lycopersicon lycopersicum 'Mountain Magic'
  • Height: 48 - 52 inches, Indeterminate
  • Spacing: 18-24 inches between plants, 3 - 5 feet between rows.
  • Depth: Plant seed 1/4 inch deep. When planting transplants, plant with the soil up to the first set of leaves. Roots will form around the buried stem making it a stronger plant.
  • Spread: 48 - 52 inches
  • Light Required: Full sun.
  • Pollinator: Self pollinating.
  • Foliage: Medium green foliage.
  • Fruit: Campari-type with flavor, uniformity, high-sugar and disease resistance. Highly crack resistant: uniformly red inside and out long shelf life. 2 oz bright red, round fruit.
  • Days To Maturity: 75 days from transplant.
  • Zone: 3 - 9 annual
  • Germination: 10-14 days.
  • Form: Vine, Indeterminate
  • Flower Form: Small yellow flowers.
  • Soil Requirements: Moist, well-drained soil.
  • Growth Rate: Moderate growth rate.
  • Seed Count: Approximately 10 seeds per packet.
  • Pruning: Prune by cutting out suckers (auxiliary shoots between the stems and the leaves) to produce larger fruit. Fruit also ripens earlier since the sun can reach it more easily.
  • Comments: Heavy yields of beautiful crack and blemish free fruit on healthy plants. Excellent sweet flavor. Resistance to early & late blight.
