Beautiful news for Southern gardeners— this plum's for you! Boasting the shortest chill times in our plum lineup, Burgundy is suitable for planting as far south as Zone 10. Lovely, deep red flesh is mild and sweet and conceals a relatively small pit, so there's more to enjoy with each bite. Fruit ripens in early July and keeps well on the tree well into August. Zones 7-9.
