More compact than traditional lavender, Munstead is ideal for planting along sunny walkways and borders. Aromatic, evergreen foliage and 8 in. long, purple flower spikes attract butterflies and other beneficial pollinators. Grows 18-24 in. tall. Bareroot. Zones 5-9.

We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August. Items that are overweight will require an additional shipping charge depending on weight.

Flower Form: Many very tiny flowers form whorls along a terminal spike up to 8" long.
Growth Rate: Moderate once established, which takes approximately 4 - 6 weeks.
Pruning: Trim back spent flower stems & shear back to 12" - 15" annually. Spring after buds break if using for drying.
Foliage: Gray-green almost white when young, evergreen needle-like, 1 1/2" - 2" long, 1/4" wide.
