  • Botanical Name: Vitis vinifera 'Edelweiss'
  • Height: 15 - 20 ft, vining habit with tendrils.
  • Spacing: 5 ft apart
  • Depth: same as in nursery
  • Spread: 3 - 4 ft
  • Light Required: full sun
  • Color: Pale green
  • Foliage: 6 inch deeply lobed and rounded, quite ornamental foliage.
  • Fruit: Heavy clusters of medium size, slipskin, greenish-white to pale gold fruits that are very sweet with mild Niagara-type flavor.
  • Zone: 4 - 7 (-20° F.)
  • Form: Vine.
  • Flower Form: Small, 5 petaled, held in narrow panicles. Not ornamental.
  • Soil Requirements: well-drained, sandy loam
