A fast-growing privacy screen! Grows 10-12 ft. tall with gigantic veined leaves. Prefers full sun. Direct sow after last frost or start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Perennial in Zones 8-10, annual elsewhere.
Note: Castor Bean seeds are poisonous. Some gardeners, especially those with small pets and children, may choose to remove and discard any seedpods that develop on the plant for this reason.

Likes heat and moisture. In zones 8 - 10 it acts as a perennial. Soak seeds for 24 hours before sowing. Requires staking in exposed areas. Helps keep moles away.
