Enjoy the best of both worlds—a delicate, buttery texture and a little crunch—with this cross between a butterhead and romaine lettuce. Blush Butter Cos Lettuce is beautiful, too, with apple green, savoyed leaves edged with a pink blush. Butterhead lettuces have long been treasured for their delicate flavor and buttery texture. However, they're more likely to bruise when harvesting. Thanks to its romaine lineage, Blush Butter Cos stands up better to harvesting, and it tolerates a bit more sunburn and stress. It performs well in both the spring and fall garden. It's also suitable for container gardening. 50-60 DAYS.
