Amish Paste Tomato

Beloved Roma-type heirloom

  • 8-12 oz. fruits
  • Excellent for sauces and eating fresh
  • Meaty flesh and rich flavor
  • Open pollinated
  • Indeterminate
A favorite for generations of gardeners, Amish Paste Tomato is tops for making into richly flavored tomato paste and sauces. The vigorous, indeterminate plants grow 4-5 ft. tall and produce plenty of 8-12 oz., bright red, juicy fruits with meaty flesh. While a favorite for cooking into sauces, this Roma tomato type is good for using in salads and salsas too. Amish Paste Tomato is an open-pollinated heirloom that is believed to have originated in the late 1800's in an Amish community in Wisconsin. 80 DAYS.
