Intermediate-Day Onion Plants, also known as Day-Neutral Onions, begin the bulbing process when day length reaches 12-14 hours. They produce nice-sized bulbs in most regions, except for far South Florida and South Texas, where growth may be limited. When planted at the proper time, they mature in approximately 110 days. Known for their exceptional sweetness, Intermediate-Day Onions thrive best in latitudes ranging from 32 to 42.
