This low-growing perennial produces masses of delicate violet flowers with a distinctive pinwheel shape, creating a charming carpet of color that blankets the foliage. Its fine, needle-like evergreen leaves provide year-round texture and help maintain interest even after the bloom season ends.

Growing just 4-6 in. tall and spreading 24-36 in. wide, Violet Pinwheels is perfect for edging walkways, spilling over rock walls, filling gaps in stone gardens or stabilizing sunny slopes. Once established, it forms a dense, weed-suppressing mat that requires very little maintenance. This hardy groundcover thrives in full sun and well-drained soil and is drought tolerant once established.
