Native to eastern North American, this deciduous tree grows 50-60 ft. tall with a symmetrical, rounded crown. Its leaves start out green and turn red in the fall. In the springtime, the Scarlet Maple Tree produces red-tinted, winged seeds. This deciduous tree is well-adapted to urban conditions, and its sturdy branches resist wind damage. It's a colorful choice for planting in yards and parks. Zones 3-9.
