Product Description
- Sweet, spicy flavor—a taste test winner!
- Reddish purple skin and crimson flesh
- Matures mid-August to September
- Able to thrive in many different climates
Pluots are perhaps the best known of the interspecific hybrids, with parentage that’s at least 75% plum and up to 25% apricot. This exceptional pluot has a sweet, spicy flavor unlike anything else in the orchard, and boasts a sensational aroma. Small fruits have reddish-purple skin and soft crimson flesh that’s as beautiful as it is delicious, whether eaten fresh or made into desserts. Flavor King ripens from mid-August to September, and the tree naturally stays a small, manageable size—ideal for home gardens. With a chill requirement of 400 hours or less, it performs well in many climates. Best pollinated by Dapple Dandy Pluot®.
