A delightful cross between a plum and a sweet cherry, Candy Heart has the juicy, amber-red flesh of a plum and the rich sweetness of a cherry. Heart-shaped fruits have dark, speckled red skin and an extended hang time, maturing on the tree for longer to give you more time to harvest and enjoy. This vigorous, adaptable variety reaches peak ripeness in mid-August, and is excellent for fresh eating and preserves. Requires Sweet Treat Pluerry™ as a pollinator and 500 chill hours or less.
