A twist on the beloved coneflower. Large, 4- to 5-in. flowers have bright, light green rays and dark green center cones. Lightly fragrant blooms attract birds and butterflies. Attractive fresh cut or dried flower. Tolerates drought, clay and shallow-rocky soil. 18- to 24-in. stems require no staking. Plant in full sun to partial shade. PP18678.

  • Light Required: Full sun to partial shade.
  • Color: Light green ray petals surround the large green cone. Flowers are the color of Emeralds!
  • Foliage: Linear lance shaped to ovate dark green leaves with toothed edges. Bristly hairy stems and leaf texture.
  • Blooms: Mid summer to fall.
  • Zone: 4 - 9
  • Form: Upright
  • Flower Form: Daisy-like with prominent stiff cone center. Fragrant
  • Soil Requirements: Well-drained soil, but is tolerant of a wide range of soil conditions.
