White Pomegranate

Very sweet and juicy

  • Large, pale pink fruits
  • Orange-red flowers
  • Semi-dwarf variety
  • Ripens in September
  • Drought tolerant
A great choice for home gardeners! White Pomegranate produces large, pale pink fruits with transparent, white flesh. The fruits ripen in early September, before Wonderful Pomegranate, and are very sweet and juicy. The semi-dwarf trees grow to 12 ft. tall and are very ornamental, bearing showy orange-red flowers, making them a good choice for the edible landscape. White Pomegranate is drought tolerant and thrives in the summer heat. Self-fertile. Requires less than 200 chilling hours below 45 degrees F. Cold hardy to zone 9 and probably to zone 8b.
