Innovative tray takes the guesswork out of growing tomatoes and peppers. Split tray design allows for easy application around the plant stem and holds up to 1/2 gallon of water to directly feed the roots of the plant where they need it most. Holes can be filled with slow-release fertilizer to automate the feeding process as well.Trays help plants grow by reflecting red light to stimulate growth and blocking weeds from taking root at the base of the plant.
I purchased a set off these to try. I used 2 around tomatoes and one around a pepper. Overall we're not "easy" to use, the plastic is very rigid and unless you put out right away with very tiny seedling they are nearly impossible to get around a plant. Also broke one trying to get it out at the end of the season. Here in Kansas we get heavy rains from time to time and so the little feeding holes were constantly clogged with dirt so unless I cleaned them out all the time the slow release fertilizer idea was a bust. I did not notice an increase in plant growth time or in production. Maybe they would work better in a container garden or some place more protected than my large open garden.

These are worthless. After two years of use, I am throwing them away. Don't waste your money.
