Introducing Thomcord- a wonderful seedless variety that combines the sweetness of Thompson with the richness of Concord! Plump, blue-black, very juicy berries are great for fresh eating as well as processing. Best for sunny sites with good drainage. Ripening in August. Self-pollinating. No. 1, 1-yr. vines. Zones 5b-9.

Product Details

  • Height: 15 - 20', vining habit with tendrils.
  • Spacing: 6 - 7 ft.
  • Depth: Dig a hole large enough to accomodate the roots without bending them, set crown at soil level. Firm well and water thoroughly.
  • Spread: 3 - 4'
  • Sun/Shade: Full sun.
  • Pollinator: Self pollinator
  • Yield: 10 - 15 lbs per plant
  • Foliage: 6 inch deeply lobed and rounded, quite ornamental foliage.
  • Blooms: Early to mid Summer for several weeks.
  • Fruit: Plump, juicy, seedless table grape with large clusters of medium-sized berries, but unlike Concord, it has adherent skin.
  • Form: Vine.
  • Flower Form: Small, 5 petaled, held in narrow panicles. Not ornamental.
  • Soil Requirements: Well drained, humus enriched soil.
  • Growth Rate: Fast once established.
  • Pruning: Prune in Winter when dormant.
