Excellent Cool Soil Vigor for Early Plantings

An improvement on Nothern Xtra Sweet Bicolor, this improved version offers early vigor, early maturity, sweet flavor and an eating quality that's much better than the original. Northern Extra-Sweet Bicolor Sweet Corn Improved has bicolored, 8 in. ears with 14-16 rows of medium-sized kernels that are very sweet. Corn is excellent for fresh eating, freezing and canning. Ears are easy to pick. For best results and pollination, plant the corn seeds in blocks of at least four rows that are 36 in. apart. We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August.
