An All-America Selections winner from 1935, Straight Eight bears very heavy yields of dark green, perfectly straight, 8 in. fruits that are 2 ½ in. across. The uniform fruits have a small seed cavity and crisp, fine-grained flesh. They're tops for eating fresh and cut up into salads.
