A favorite in this years lettuce trials, Starhawk is a glossy, deep green mini-Romaine type with a crispcrunchy texture and excellent flavor. The perfect size for salad for 2, Starhawk holds extremely well in the garden, even in the heat. Much earlier and better performing than Parris Cos. 50 DAYS.

Plants will be shipped at the proper planting time for your area of the country using the shipping timeframes outlined below. We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August. Items that are overweight will require an additional shipping charge depending on weight.

Soil Requirements: Tolerant of a wide range of soils, but prefers well-drained, cool, loose soil with plentiful moisture and pH 6.2 to 6.8. Sensitive to low pH.
Growth Rate: Moderate to fast growth rtae.
Seed Count: Approximately 100 seeds per packet.
Pruning: Harvest all season by thinning out the largest leaves and cutting them off at ground level.
Foliage: Glossy, deep green mini-Romaine type with a crisp, crunchy texture and excellent flavor.
