In late spring to early summer, clusters of star-shaped, white flowers open above the gray-green foliage. When massed, the blooms look like a snowdrift. The plants will self-seed if the spent blooms are not removed. Snow in Summer spreads quickly and will even cascade over walls. It's drought tolerant, once established, and deer tend to avoid.
