Vigorous plants produce high yields of medium-sized, high-quality berries that resist cracking and store well. So you'll have plenty of sweet-tasting berries for fresh eating, desserts and preserves. The light-blue berries appear to have a soft dusting that resembles powder. They hang in clusters on the plant. Powderblue Rabbiteye Hybrid Blueberry grows up to 8 ft. tall, and, like other rabbiteye blueberries, tends to be a bit more tolerant of alkaline soils, is easy to grow, and is more resistant to diseases and insect pests. Pollinate with Ochlockonee or Titan blueberry plants. Ripens late season (July). Zones 7–9.
